Dressed as a Girl Manual para Drag Queen
At the invitation of Isabel Mões, I produced the photographs for the sui generis show “Dressed as a Girl Manual for Drag Queen”. A show that reflects on female stereotypes, performance and gender identity.
With this photographic work, I got to know a little about the Drag universe. With this very enriching experience, I created a huge admiration for these artists who have a chameleon-like ability that very few can reach.
The stereotype attributed to the Drag Queen is not only completely wrong, but also reveals a deep lack of knowledge about this MAJOR ART.
